why?

This page is simply all about why I chose this topic for my blog! I briefly go into it in my first blog post but to fully understand it I must go deeper. Music is an oasis getaway for me, i find my true emotions within the lyrics and I kind of lose myself and all that is going on in my life. Music has greatly helped me through tough times and has introduced me into some pretty amazing people along the journey. Growing up with a wide variety helped me break out of my anti social phase and made me friends of all groups with all types of people. I find music to help not just me but i have witnessed it be the savior of so many young teens. So many teens nowadays are committing/ attempting suicide but, what I have noticed they found salvation in music. They look to their artists and their meaning filled lyrics as if they're speaking to them and helping them through it all. I have first hand witnessed this within many people in my life, within my sister, my cousin, my friends. All very different people, with different problems whom all found salvation and help through lyrics. To me that means the world. Hence why i really chose this topic, Music is so much more then people really do understand. To some yes its just sounds and words in harmony, but others it truly is life.
